Able Security Group started operating in September 1993 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Over the next 25 years their products and services diversified to include Architectural Door Hardware, Electronic Security and Hotel Locking Systems.
With Verizon Connect, Able Security Group have improved their job scheduling, dispatching and time management, helping to increase the amount of jobs completed in the field.
Able Security Group implemented Verizon Connect after having their own paper-based system. Able Security Group were relying on a manual process of rekeying job information into another system, taking over an hour per day.
“We had a program where I logged everything and then it would print out the job cards, invoice books and price sheets,” explains Ryan Hewson, service manager at Able Security Group
This meant Able Security Group was spending a lot of time manually entering in information and sifting through the piles of paperwork, including invoices, job cards and price sheets.
“We implemented Verizon Connect because we had to go digital, the paper-based system was hard to manage,” explains Ryan Hewson, service manager at Able Security Group
For Able Security Group, Verizon Connect means their paper is all on one place, which creates a more organised office, helping to improve efficiencies for staff.
After searching for the right platform, Ryan came across Verizon Connect, a mobile-based job management platform that could connect the field to the office and the office to the field, providing Ryan with real time visibility of each job from beginning to end.
“It is definitely good now that we know when a job has started or finished,” explains Ryan Hewson, service manager at Able Security Group
Able Security Group benefits from the mobile-based platform, giving them real time visibility into their business and helping to simplify their day-to-day by knowing what their field workers are doing.
“I can see that the field worker has finished all of his jobs for the day and has moved on to the next day’s jobs,” explains Ryan Hewson, service manager at Able Security Group
Verizon Connect clears the clutter, enabling Able Security Group to invest more time in growing the business.
“I have saved over an hour a day with Verizon Connect. The system has saved us from calling the technician and asking where they are and if a job has finished, now I can see if I can fit something else in,” explains Ryan Hewson, service manager at Able Security Group
Now Able Security Group know exactly where their workers are, if a job has started or finished and if there is potential to get more work done throughout the day.
Since implementing Verizon Connect, Able Security Group have moved away from a paper-based system. Now, Able Security Group continue to successfully improve their scheduling and dispatching of jobs in the field.
