Verizon Connect Integrated Video helps JBM Logistics know exactly what happened on the road and who was at fault. Within minutes of an unsafe driving event, the team at JBM Logistics receive a relevant snippet of video, which shows what occurred.
Recently JBM Logistics experienced a couple of harsh driving events, which resulted in collisions. Luckily, Verizon Connect Integrated Video helped them back up their drivers, who had done nothing wrong, and speed up the insurance claim process.
A Kangaroo Jumped Out Of Nowhere
One evening, one of their trucks was driving along an empty country road, when a kangaroo jumped out in front of the vehicle.
Harpreet Mangat, Managing Director, received a notification, with the relevant snippet of video, within minutes of the harsh driving event. He contacted the driver immediately to make sure they were safe. After watching the video, Harpreet knew that his driver wasn’t at fault.
Integrated Video quickly and easily helped Harpreet see that the driver was under the speed limit, not driving erratically, and reacted to the situation appropriately. It also provided definitive proof that this was a freak incident and the driver was not to blame.
New Truck Gets Scraped
On another occasion, one of JBM Logistics’s drivers pulled up to a roundabout and waited for traffic to pass, when another truck sideswiped his vehicle.
This was especially annoying for JBM Logistics because they only bought the truck two weeks before it got sideswiped.
JBM Logistics didn’t have to go digging through footage to find the incident. Harpreet was sent a notification with video footage of the incident which helped them avoid a lengthy insurance claim on the new vehicle.
