Construction industry insights: Why fleet technology is one of the best allies for the sector

Further to this, in the "Fleet Trends Report Europe: Construction Industry Insights" conducted for Verizon Connect by ABI Research, we highlight how fleet management is key to helping deliver results and building resilience for all the key industries.

Here are some of the main findings relating to the construction industry:

• 61% of survey respondents reported improved customer service since they implemented a fleet tracking solution.
• 51% of improved productivity. 
• 49% lowered their fuel costs.
• 37% reduced accidents and 18% lowered labour costs. 
• For smart technologies, like in-cab video the benefits go far beyond expectations. 53% of video solution adopters have reduced accident costs and 44% have lowered insurance costs.
